Tilly Thomas Lux

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to shoot a lookbook for the wonderful bridal accessories designer Tilly Thomas Lux.

This was Sally’s first ever collection, but you wouldn’t think so looking at the fine detail and high end quality of her work. Sally’s sparkly pieces blew me away. They were effortlessly beautiful to photograph, and along with our wonderful model Lucy the whole shoot came together like a dream.

I’ve had to be patient about sharing these images, as some of the headpieces Sally designed were especially for an event at The Ritz, London with Halfpenny London. Such an amazing achievement for a new brand! I predict big things for this lady.

As you can see in these images, Sally’s pieces are so easy and versatile to wear. I love how hair and make-up artist Lulu created several looks on Lucy, to show all the possible ways to style these sparkles.

Victoria Flowers created a boho pastel bouquet for this shoot, which suited the whole vibe perfectly. With beautiful pinks, whites and greens. The dresses for the shoot were by Halfpenny London. I am a massive fan of Kate’s beautiful dresses, and always love having the chance to photograph them! Gorgeous clean lines and simple details – perfect for this lookbook shoot.

We shot the lookbook at my favourite London photography studio – Clic La Mode. The afternoon light is always ethereal, and I knew it would be the perfect setting to capture the Tilly Thomas Lux collection in the best light.
